Colosseum, Forum and Palatine tour

From €55.

This semi-private tour (maximum 13 people) takes you around the Colosseum, then through the Forum, and atop the Palatine Hill to give you an outstanding interpretation of these incredible monuments with an expert guide.

Travel back in time to relive the Roman Empire, on a 2-and-a-half-hour guided tour of the one of the most visited monuments in the world. You will also visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill on this historic tour.

You will meet your guide at the office location near the Forum, at which point you can let your expert historian bring 2,000 years of history back to life. You will hear of ferocious battles between gladiators and beasts, and learn how this was all put on for the entertainment of Roman citizens and the elite.

You will then discover the Colosseum amphitheater from the inside, and learn how this unique structure was built in under 8 years by the Great Vespasian in 72 A.D., before becoming inaugurated by his son Titus.
