This morning – June 2nd, 2020 – Rome Vacation Tips went to the Villa Borghese park and snapped Italy’s flight display team, the Frecce Tricolori, as they performed a flypast over the Victor Emmanuel II Monument.
Because of the country’s response to the Covid-19 crisis, the traditional Republic Day parade in the city center was cancelled, but the indomitable spirit of Italy was still expressed in the most spectacular way.
These photographs were taken from the Terrazza Viale del Belvedere, located on the edge of the Villa Borghese park.
