This cute cat-catching-chicken picture, also featuring olives, a pair of courting ducks, and apricots, is the detail of a mosaic taken from Hadrian’s Villa in Tivoli, north-east of Rome. It is now located in the “Cabinet of Masks” in the Vatican Museums.
